Smyth can fill a role on this club as a bottom six forward,who gets plenty of power play time, but nothing else. <br /><br />He's no longer capable of being an effective a top six forward. Using him as anything other than a bottom six role is detrimental to both the club and player. Fans need to separate their emotions from the equation when it comes to Smytty.
