So Far So Good When it Comes to RNH
While the Edmonton Oilers were complete no-shows during the opening twenty-eight or so minutes of their exhibition tilt with the Winnipeg Jets, they did manage to use a twelve minute flurry to get out of town with a 3-2 win on Wednesday night.

Yak to see top line duty against Jets
It may just be an exhibition game but come Wednesday night Nail Yakupov will be given an opportunity to show what he can accomplish playing alongside two of the Edmonton Oilers top forwards.

Fasth Sets Bar In Pre-Season Debut
While half of the Edmonton Oilers training camp roster managed to knock off half of the Calgary Flames roster by a score of 3-1 over at Rexall Place during Sunday night NHL exhibition hockey, it was the play of goaltender Viktor Fasth at the Scotiabank Saddledome that was arguably the high point of the evening.

The Draisaitl, Perron and Pouliot Experiment
The moment Craig MacTavsih announced the Edmonton Oilers signing of winger Benoit Pouliot to a five year $20 million deal, it was obvious the role in which the organization envisioned using the former New York Ranger during the upcoming 2014-15 season.
