RNH to the rescue!!!

Fans of the Edmonton Oilers have been waiting for last night’s edition of this roster to show up all season long. While much of the 2013-14 campaign has been nothing more than a bad dream that simply refuses to end, Friday’s 4-3 overtime victory over Sidney Crosby and the Pittsburgh Penguins was quite literally a perfect storm.

So what is #89 really worth?

So it has finally come to this for Sam Gagner and the Edmonton Oilers. While it may or may not come to fruition during tonight’s matchup against the Pittsburgh Penguins, it looks as though #89 could be headed for a twirl or two on the right wing in the not too distant future.

Bryz needs to be better

Close but no cigar

Even when the St. Louis Blues don’t bring their “A” game to rink, the Edmonton Oilers need everything to go just right in order to have any hope of beating Ken Hitchcock’s side. Last night’s 5-2 loss could have gone in a completely different direction but the Oilers best players simply weren’t good enough.

While it certainly could not have been easy for the Edmonton Oilers budding superstar, he was not alone in his disappointment.

Bishop's departure = Oilers victory

For one of the few times this season, the Edmonton Oilers caught a couple of breaks and used them to their advantage on Sunday night, slipping past the Tampa Bay Lightning 5-3 at Rexall Place. Jordan Eberle led the way upfront with a pair of goals while Taylor Hall rebounded from a couple of off nights, picking up his 40th and 41st points of the season.
