Game 24: Nashville 6 Edmonton 0
Just when you thought things couldn't get any worse for the Edmonton Oilers, Ralph Krueger's crew hit a new low on Friday night in Nashville, Tennessee. Colin Wilson led the onslaught with a four point effort, while Shea Weber chipped in with three helpers in leading the Predators to 6-0 thrashing of the slumping Oilers.

Game 23: Detroit 3 Edmonton 0
This is starting to become a little much for anyone that follows the Edmonton Oilers with any sort of regularity. While there is no shame in falling 3-0 to the Detroit Red Wings at Joe Louis Arena, this team continues to show the inability to create any sort of offence and the losses are piling up fast.

Game 22: Columbus 4 Edmonton 3 (SO)
It was another day off the calender that was coupled with another important point lost by the Edmonton Oilers and their flickering hopes of competing for a playoff spot for the first time since 2006. Shootout goals from Artem Anisimov and Mark Letestu proved to be the difference, as the Columbus Blue Jackets edged the Oilers 4-3 in Tuesday night NHL action.
Overcrowded forward group grows larger with the addition of Brown
With the Edmonton Oilers acquisition of former Toronto Maple Leafs pest Mike Brown on Monday morning, General Manager Steve Tambellini helped address his club's lack of toughness and willingness to engage physically. On the other hand, he has added another body to a roster that already has far too many players on it.

Game 21: Minnesota 4 Edmonton 2
In what was as important a game as they have played during the 2013 season, the Edmonton Oilers delivered arguably their most disappointing performance to date, falling 4-2 to the Minnesota Wild on Sunday evening. Netminder Devan Dubnyk made thirty-nine stops in the losing effort, as the Wild outshot their Northwest rivals two-to-one on the night.
