Two points dropped that could come back to haunt

After watching the Edmonton Oilers hand the Winnipeg Jets two points on the opening night of the 2013-14 schedule, I couldn't help but wonder if that result might not just come back to haunt them at the end of the regular season. In just under two weeks, the talented Russian has already shown enough to cement himself a spot inside the top six and don’t be surprised to see him push for a bigger role as the year progresses.

Ference named 14th captain in Oilers history

One of the biggest reasons Andrew Ference was brought on board by the Edmonton Oilers was his overall experience and leadership abilities. While the thirty-four year old is no longer the player he once was his winning pedigree is something the Oilers dressing room has been missing for ages.
