MacT is betting on both Scrivens and Hendricks being able to fill a void

Wednesday afternoon proved to be a rather busy time for the Edmonton Oilers Craig MacTavish.
The rookie GM managed to pull off not one but two deals in his ongoing quest to improve his club’s NHL roster.

Forty minutes just isn't good enough

As the games on their 2013-14 schedule continue to fall of the calendar, the Edmonton Oilers have started to show signs of improvements in their overall game. Now it hasn’t done much for their placement in the Western Conference standings but the fact this team seems almost incapable of playing a full sixty minutes of hockey surely isn’t helping.

Fans are rightfully pissed but let's not get carried away

Edmonton Oilers fans can certainly be a funny bunch. No one would ever question their passion for their hockey team but at times, some of those fans have been known to take on a bit of a pack mentality. Be it with certain players or management personnel, they can certainly make life fairly uncomfortable for whoever their target might be.
