There is no question that the 2013-14 campaign will go down as one of
the most disappointing in the history of the Edmonton Oilers.
This was supposed to be the year the guys in Orange and Blue were going
to push for a playoff spot and instead they did nothing more than push
for yet another lottery pick.

Torres is at his finest in the post-season
It has been six years since Raffi Torres was a member of the Edmonton Oilers and while he has had his fair share of ups and downs since leaving the Alberta Capital, the former fifth overall pick of the New York Islanders will always hold a special place in the hearts of fans across Oil Country.

Jordan Eberle needs to be better
Ever since posting a thirty-four goal season during his sophomore campaign in the National Hockey League, Edmonton Oilers winger Jordan Eberle has become somewhat of a polarizing figure for many across Oil Country.

While the Edmonton Oil Kings were nowhere near as dominant in Game Two of their Western Hockey League Eastern Conference Final against the Medicine Hat Tigers yesterday afternoon, they were still plenty good enough to grab themselves a commanding 2-0 series lead with a 3-1 victory over at Rexall Place.

Well…so much for coming out of the gate a little rusty. After making quick work of the Prince Albert Raiders and Brandon Wheat Kings in the opening two rounds of the WHL Playoffs, the Edmonton Oil Kings look poised to make it three consecutive post-season blowouts after pounding the Medicine Hat Tigers 8-3 in opener of their Eastern Conference Final.
